Rooting and Installing Cwm Recover on Samsung Galaxy S3 Gt i9300 is a piece of cake all need is a little patience.If you dont know what rooting is then go to this post and decide you really want to root your phone or not.

Rooting Steps


  • Download CF-Autoroot from here
  • Download Cwm Recovery 
  • Download Odin
  • Open the Odin Extract it and Run as Administrator.Install the Odin.
  • Enable Debugging Mode To enable USB debugging navigate to Settings > System > Developer options > Debugging > USB debugging .
  • Turn off your phone, Go into recovery mode by pressing the Volume down + Home + Power keys together Now your phone will display a warning , press the Volume up button to continue into Recovery Mode
  • Now Connect your  Samsung Galaxy S3 Using the data cable
  • You should now see the Odin’s ID:COM status change into blue and an "Added" message will be displayed

  • Check Auto reboot and F.Reset options in Odin
  • Click on the PDA button and select the CF-Autoroot downloaded file .
  • Double check all the instructions above and Click Start to Root your Samsung Galaxy S3 . Wait for a few minutes and you will see a Pass message as show below

Congratulations your Samsung Galaxy S3 is now Rooted to check download any root checker from market.

Installing CWM Recovery

  • Now your Phone is rooted you can now install cwm recovery to your Galaxy S3
  • Connect your  Samsung Galaxy S3 Using the data cable
  • You should now see the Odin’s ID:COM status change into blue and an "Added" message will be displayed      
  • Check Auto reboot and F.Reset options in Odin
  • Click on the PDA button and select the Recovery File Downloaded Earlier
  • Double check all the instructions above and Click Start to install the recovery in your Samsung Galaxy S3 . Wait for a few minutes and you will see a Pass message as show earlier above
Go into recovery by pressing the Volume up + Home + Power keys 

This is a tested method on my Samsung Galaxy S3. Still we are not responsible if your brick your device by not following the steps properly.
